It is that time of year again. It is time to make up some nog! The eggnog variety.
Usually at this time of year we are in Bend Oregon for the holidays. As everyone is all too aware, international travel is extremely difficult unless you have a spare month or so to deal with the quarantine procedures at either end.
For us, with airlines took matters into their own hands, canceling our flights, leaving us with little choice but to remain on the European side of the pond. Switzerland it is.
The recipe that we have adhered to for the past few years is that of Alton Brown's aged eggnog, for the health conscious. Well, maybe not.
After resourcing and acquiring the main ingredients, the next step was the marriage of the 2 groups: the dairy; and the booze. Note, additional guests include half-pound of sugar, six egg yolks, some ground nutmeg who was very fresh and a dashing salt!

Here are the groomsmen: bourbon, rum and cognac
Here is the happily married couple:
Now let the celebration begin in about 14 days. After a rehearsal taster, of course!
