On a bright and sunny friday afternoon it was the end of the first half of the winter semester. The final part of the week culminated with the parade for the Basel Fasnacht festival.
The festival occurs on the kids second week of their winter break. The first day is on the Monday morning starting at 4am sharp! All the inner city lights are turned off and the city begins the parade of lanterns, pipers snd drummers! Below is some footage from their Basel Fasnacht festival.
Hayley’s class paraded around the local Max Kaempf Platz and she dressed up with her mask as expected for the festival.
