Colmar Revisited

Erik was back in town for Roche and therefore we grabbed an opportunity to catch up and show him the sights of Colmar.

It was still a chilly day but with bright sunshine so Erik wore shorts! The rest of dressed in normal clothing for January in Switzerland.

After we left the train station shown above we walked in the old town of Colmar stopping a long the way for the kids to get their wiggles out on some play structures in a local park.

In the part of the old town known as little Venice we took a look at the canals!

Here we see the current state of the French navy and that they have clearly invested less than the 2% GDP into Nato.

After the park activities it was time to feed the little vultures.

The indoor market proved a useful option with nice drinks to complement the flammkuchen everyone consumed except for Hayley.

Hayley and I did some more cheese tasting and bought some selections that included Raclette and Appenzeller.

We skipped around the minor Gilet Jaunes' protesting by a square and church and wandered around looking at the decorations on the old buildings in the many stores.
