Saturday after our recent trips was unusually warm and sunny. To make the most of the turnaround in the weather we headed in to Basel on our bikes. We had some random minor issues with the bikes here and there and so had not made the most of them. This was about to change.
We found a cool park not far from the FC Basel stadium and close by to the Basel botanical gardens.
After we chased Tim the brontosaurus around Jurassic park we found a much less intimidating activity, much to Hayley's liking.
This ride was just not the adrenaline rush that Ryan was needing. So he passed this time around.
With all that excitement we had worked up a hunger and with soaring temperature close to 70F we relaxed and cooled off with some ice-cream.
Funny really, I thought that there would be more photos involving two wheeled modes of transport. #MeToo! I hear you cry! Other than as a cool fashion statement and a distinguishing feature from the Swiss, the use of helmets is a case of extreme caution everywhere we go! Avoiding tram tracks and cars on narrow highways is not easy or for the feint of heart. Honestly, there were not too many shots involving those machines. We did use them in between the photos, I promise!
