On bright and sunny family day in Basel was an opportunity to explore a local animal park which Andi and Pepper had not been too and was worth revisiting.
We took the tram and bus across town and hit the German rail station where we grabbed lunch before hitting the park.
The pretzel hors d'œuvre was key, and complimented the refreshing beer very well.
We hit the park and trail along side the river Wiese which was so pretty with the fall colors beginning to take hold.
The footpath lead to lots of trails which headed towards Germany and one very pretty town of Riehen. Riehen was one place where we looked at apartments to rent for the time here.
It seemed a great place too for running, so you know we will be back to fit in some more trail runs.
