We arrived in Zurich after a smooth flight with United. Yes, incredible as that seems, the minor delays were caught up on route with tailwinds.
Outside we were met by the transfer company and driven the last hour to our Basel apartment from the airport. All were tired but excited to be there.
The weather was warm and it was a beautiful day. Here are the photos from our yard and of our patio.
It was thirsty work moving all this way!
We allocated bedrooms which was surprisingly easy and had a quick introductory tour of the apartment and the Basel and Swiss way from the moving company. This went over TV, internet, trash, recycling and how to use some of the provided the rental furnishings.
The next day we started some work while the kids visited the internet. After this, needing some outdoor activity we walked Pepper, rode the trams (including Pepper) and then took the tram to the zoo.
At the zoo we saw lots of new babies and here are some for you to see too.
Andi finished her day at the Roche office, which coincidentally, is next to the zoo. We all met up and had a fruity beverage in the park and kids played hide and seek.
